How May Procell Microchanneling Improve Hair Loss

Hair Loss:

Age related hair loss is not well understood, but is thought to be attributable to 4 primary factors:

  1. Thinning of aging skin miniaturizes follicles
  2. Decreased blood supply miniaturizes follicles
  3. Hormonal imbalances miniaturize follicles
  4. Genetic predisposition

Red Light Therapy May improve Eye Function

“Should we insist our clients wear protective goggles while under red light therapy, LED, LLLT red light?”

Here is a link to some interesting clinical data regarding observed improvement in the vision of aging patients after short exposure to red light therapy.

Optically Improved Mitochondrial Function Redeems Aged Human Visual Decline

The study was done using 670nm red light, (Illuminate is 660), and 40Mw of power, (Illuminate is 30Mw). So Illuminate‘s slightly shorter wavelength, and slightly lower power is likely; at the very least safe, and at best, safe and effective for improved mitochondrial function and overall eye health over time.

We have not recommended wearing protective goggles for Red Light Therapy, (Red LED Light) in the clinic, when delivered via the Illuminate Red Light LED panel for over 5 years, (either for clients or for ourselves) and have had zero adverse events, side effects or untoward outcomes.

In short, red light in the 630 to 680 nano-meter spectrum appears to improve mitochondrial function, and other cell function due to up-regulation of ATP facilitating faster, more efficient movement of the biological machines that drive inter, and intracellular activity.
