Over the Counter Numbing Cream – Make it Faster & Longer
If you want your over-the-counter numbing cream to act more quickly & last longer, whether it’s lidocaine or BLT, (Benzocaine, Lidocaine, and Tetracaine) , and you don’t want to have to get a prescription, try these tips for faster onset and longer lasting, more effective numbing:
- We’ve heard some of our practitioners ask the client to take 4 Advil about 2 hours before any treatment that hurts. With numbing cream on top of that, you can get almost anyone through almost any painful treatment.
- Apply Red Light Therapy for 5 minutes, (preferably using the Illuminate LED Red Light Panel) after massaging the numbing cream in. This increases absorption and speeds onset.
- For microneedling, PMU or microchanneling try the application technique in THIS VIDEO.
- Some of our practitioners have clients put 1/2 of a dropper of CBD Tincture under their tongue, and massage in CBD Oil about 10 minutes before they start applying numbing cream. Many of our practitioners use JLounge CBD products from Boulder Colorado. You can get them HERE.
