Neuromed BLT Variety Pack

Two Numbing Cream Enhancement Techniques

For years aesthetic practitioners have sought ways to make our clients comfortable during treatments that involve some level of discomfort. Especially for microchanneling, microneedling, plasma pen, radio frequency, Ultherapy® and other light and heat based aesthetic services.

At our clinic in Colorado we’ve used a combination topical called the Neuromed BLT Variety Pack for a few years now with good success, (you can learn more and purchase it here).

Illuminate RedWe recently added the Illuminate LED Red Light Therapy Panel, and have found that after applying the Neuromed BLT that when we put our clients under Illuminate for about 5 minutes, we achieve a similar numbing effect as we had before when allowing up to 45 minutes of numbing.

For microchanneling we still do a pre-needling pass like you see in the numbing cream video. And now with Illuminate LED we simply slip the red light panel over the treatment area and get even faster, stronger numbing.

And for other services where pre-needling is not a part of the protocol, Illuminate LED helps to speed up the numbing time!
